The eligibility requirements to take the exam are high. The A.T.A. exam is currently available from Arabic, Croatian, Danish, Dutch, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish to English and from English into Chinese, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish.

Translation charges vary on the type of document being translated, the project's deadline, the formatting requirements, and the language pairing.
